I like guys with long hair. Just keep it pulled back then it will not both you. You can get a flat iron. You just take sections of your hair and run the flat iron. I have straight hair but it makes my hair look better. Good luck! Don't do something(cut) because someone told you to. Its your hair follow your heart because at the end of the day you are the one left wearing it. I still like guys with long hair though. wink wink

What can you do to prevent hair from being frizzy? What can you use to make your hair thicker and gro

I have thin hair and it's hard to do anything with it.But I want smooth and sexy hair with body.

What can you do to prevent hair from being frizzy? What can you use to make your hair thicker and grow longer?

Comb a volumizing mouse into your hair (I like paul mitchell best). Blow drying in the direction of your hair will make it less frizzy. Once your hair is mostly dry flip your hair upside down and finish blow drying and spray with medium hold hairspray (this will give it volume). Flip your hair back over and arrange it w/ your fingers.

What can you do to prevent hair from being frizzy? What can you use to make your hair thicker and grow longer?

why dont you try straightening it? or get a hair relaxer they work great. If you use a straightener it works wonders

What can you do to prevent hair from being frizzy? What can you use to make your hair thicker and grow longer?

Take Biotin. it's a Vitamin that stimulates hair growth.

What can you do to prevent hair from being frizzy? What can you use to make your hair thicker and grow longer?

You have thin and frizzy hair?

Welll, usually if you use a volumizing shampoo along with the volumizing products it also comes with, your hair will become thicker and smooth. Blow drying your hair at the roots while you pull your hair up with a brush adds volume.

Good luck. If this still doesnt work. You might want to try extensions.

What can you do to prevent hair from being frizzy? What can you use to make your hair thicker and grow longer?

As far as keeping your hair from being frizzy, try BioSilk...either the aerosol or liquid. They are both WONDERFUL!! I have naturally wavy hair, and when I blow it straight, I always use biosilk and use a Chi straighting iron to smooth it out!

How do i fix my hair?

i am getting married in 70 days and i put glued in tracks in my hair when i took them out they pulled out a considerably amount of my hair what do i do to fix it i already had thin hair so im really scared about this thanx

How do i fix my hair?

your hair is just going to have grow back on its own..you will have to either go get professional help with extentions or wear a wig..congrats on getting married

How do i fix my hair?

I think that you should go to a GOOD hairdresser whom you 'trust totally' with your hair, and let him/her help you decide what to do to 'fix' your hair. You may have to use 'false extensions' for you wedding, and I think that you'll also want something that you can 'leave in' and not have to 'do a lot with your hair every day' while you are on your honeymoon ... but the BEST that you can do now that you have done so much 'damage' is go to a good hairdresser and hope that the hairdresser can give you a 'good, workable' FIX.

How do i fix my hair?

it depends on the structure of your face. some people can pull off the fresh cut look. but if your getting married maybe the whole, short hair, fantasia kind of look would be best. but don't follow my advice unless your absolutely sure.

How do i fix my hair?

Honey, you need to go to Gene Morez two days before the marrige, get your hair done and a spa treatment and fix up. Trust me, you'll look better than a ripe peach!!

How do i fix my hair?

Wash out all that gunk and wear your hair natural. Avoid putting in a perm or blowdrying, it's too risky since your hair is damaged now. 70 days away is enough time for your head to see some regrowth. About an inch of hair.

Gently wash your hair everyday and condition, message your scalp to promote stimulation 3 times a day for 5 mins, take biotin, zinc, and vitamin B to promote hair growth, eat lots of protein, deep condition once a week, and put hair oil on your ends to keep them from splitting. Don't forget to cover your hair at night.

Find an easy to do hairstyle, don't put anymore tracks or extensions in your hair. They'll pull on your hair, and yours is too weak for that. You might want to consider some corn rows using only your hair, if this isn't workable then find an easy trim hairstyle that you can wake up in and go to work without fussing to much. Wear a wig if you must, but let your hair recuperate without added chemicals and harsh styling.

I know it sucks, but do you want to go through this same problem on your wedding day? Take the best action now, and congrats on your marriage.

Thin, limp, straight hair...... layers????

my sister has very thin limp hair with no life, it looks dead. it is amazingly straight, but is flat on her head. i think she should get layers so it will look fuller but her hairdresser said that it will only make it look thinner. should she get layers?????

Thin, limp, straight hair...... layers????

tell her to get volumizer

Thin, limp, straight hair...... layers????

her hair dresser must be pretty dumb because i had the same kinda hair and my hair looks alot better and thicker now!! i say go for it!!

Thin, limp, straight hair...... layers????

buy some really good hair curlers and when you curl it go for the messy haired look.

just curl the hair (curl the top and leave the under hair staight) then use extra strong good quality hair spray to mess it up abit and to hold it.

oh and buy shampoo which is specially designed for thin, limp hair.

Thin, limp, straight hair...... layers????

I have thin hair also mines because I have lupus and I lose my hair. I have layers, I have always had layers and my hair looks fine. It just depends on teh ayers she gets, when you cut layers in yoru hair its does make it thinner because not al of your hair is the same length, she just needs to finad a hairdresser that can advise her on what layers will be best for her

Thin, limp, straight hair...... layers????

My hair is like that and looks great when cut with layers.

Find a hairdresser that is more knowledgeable about cutting layers

I've had a few hairdressers tell me the same thing.(frustrating)

Thin, limp, straight hair...... layers????

The worst possible thing she could do is get layers, layers will only make her hair look thinner. A good option is to use a volumizing shampoo and no conditioner. There are some great gels like Clean Lift by Redken that work great. You should only use a small amount on towel dried hair, add about a dime size to your palms and rub your hands together and then rub int the roots of the hair only. blow dry upside down using your hands only until the hair is almost completely dry then style with a brush.

Thin, limp, straight hair...... layers????

Yea, it would look really cute.

Is there any way to give my hair volume on top without teasing?

I want to be able to have lots of volume at the top of my hair and i dont want to tease it. My hair tangles so easy and has been dyed well over 20 times, therefore is very fragile. I have fairly thin hair. I have naturally straight hair. I can fall asleep with it wet and have maybe one wave. through it (cause i pull it in a pony tail while I sleep) I dont want to braid it or anything because I only want it large and volumized up top. I'm getting layers in soon, but that will only help a bit. Help?

Is there any way to give my hair volume on top without teasing?

1. Use root volumizers: These are products designed to lift hair at the scalp. They come in gel, mousse and spray versions, and you place the product directly at the roots of towel-dried hair, lifting hair with your fingers as you apply.

2. Hot/cold blow-dry your hair at the roots: Blow-drying will give you a good lift if used with a fairly large, round brush. The trick is to situate the brush as close to your scalp as you can, essentially pulling the hair straight up from the base of your head, and using bursts of heat from the blow-dryer, aimed at the brush, followed by cool air which "sets" the style.

3. Set with Velcro rollers: A few strategically placed Velcro rollers will give your hair terrific volume. After hair is washed and blow-dried, curve one-inch sections of the hair you want lifted around the roller (small rollers for a slight lift and large for a higher lift). Three or four rollers should do the trick. Leave rollers in for about five minutes, remove and arrange newly lifted hair with your fingers. It's recommended you don't brush at this point, as brushing could "deflate" the set.

4. Use a curling iron... the right way: Because of the intense heat generated, a curling iron will give an instant lift. Starting at the crown of the head, take hold of one-inch sections of hair and lift vertically, wrapping hair around the iron, as close to your scalp as you can. Then spray with a holding product.

5. Aside from the fact that hair usually has more body when it's colored, sometimes "lift," or hair volume, is more of an impression, and that's where what's known as dimensional hair color comes in. When hair is monochromatic, it appears flatter.

I've used every single one of these techniques and all of them are great! I have fine hair but LOTS of it and have also been dying my hair forever. My hair also has a natural wave to it. The one that's the least stressful on my hair is using hot rollers. I mist my hair with a teeeny tiiiny bit of heat protector like ThermaSilk to make sure I don't do anymore damage to it. It's still in pretty good shape!!

Is there any way to give my hair volume on top without teasing?

Really work moose through it like a shampoo.

Blow dry upside down.

Simple =)

Is there any way to give my hair volume on top without teasing?

put your head down and blow-dry it then add a tad of hairspray... after you do that, pick your head back up and it's puffed...

Is there any way to give my hair volume on top without teasing?

don't sleep with your hair in a ponytail! it makes your hair break more. tsk tsk

Is there any way to give my hair volume on top without teasing?

blow dry it upside down, but not WAY too dry. that's bad for your hair. then lightly spray it with volumizing hairspray right after you lift your head from the drying. just a LITTLE tho. then comb it out and sleep [not in a ponytail]. and wake up with full hair!

Is there any way to give my hair volume on top without teasing?

use volumizing shampoo's and use a weird kind f hair brush its pokey thingy's are longer then normal and it helps just using that instead of a normal brush

Is there any way to give my hair volume on top without teasing?

Mousse will help with volume, as will drying it upside down. As for hairsprays, so many of them feel tacky and weigh your hair down. I've used spritzes with success as they are lighter in feel than hairsprays.

With fragile hair, don't ever use rubber bands. They tend to break it badly. Also, when you pull your hair back to sleep, it can cause it to snap and break, too, so make sure you use ties that protect (are coated for gentleness) and make sure they are not too tight.

Hope this will help you out.

Hi ..how to keep hair from flying ????/?

i have got thin hair which i would like to leave open ...but how do i keep it from flying ??

people with curly /thick hair dont seem to have as much of a problem as I do ....plz suggest !

Hi ..how to keep hair from flying ????/?

what do you mean by 'flying'? do you mean flyaways or do you mean poofyness?

whatever you mean, you should really try the sunsilk 24/7 creme. it really works and it smells A-W-E-S-O-M-E!

Hi ..how to keep hair from flying ????/?

If you mean flying as in static electricity, try putting canned hairspray on a brush and brushing through your hair with it. That should prevent it from flying. It should be light, though, as you don't want to weight fine hair down.

Hi ..how to keep hair from flying ????/?

hahah your hair is flying away from your head?%26gt;

hah um yeah thats preety weird cuz i never seen that b4 so idk how to answer that.

good luck!

Hi ..how to keep hair from flying ????/?

Try this line from redken...it's really really good on frizz and flyaways.

http://redken.com/products/displayBrand....

Hi ..how to keep hair from flying ????/?

Product! You gotta get you a good product. I am not sure what you mean by flying, but I recommend Biolage gel. Suave gel works too.

Hi ..how to keep hair from flying ????/?

Lol, gel is a option, but thats way over the limit if you have long hair.... Uhh i wouldnt try this either, but dont wash your hair. It will get oily and will start getting weighed down. Im guessing that there are some hair products that will help.. A hair solon person could probably help you better

Hi ..how to keep hair from flying ????/?

A shine serum or glosser would help keep the fly-aways down. It's much lighter than a gel. A drop is all you need or your hair will look greasy, especially if it's fine.

My hair has been shedding really bad and now it's thin. What products can I use to get my healthy hair back?

may want to see a doctor, since there are medical problems that can cause excessive hair shedding. For me, it was an under-active thyroid which I now take meds for, and my hair is back to norm.

My hair has been shedding really bad and now it's thin. What products can I use to get my healthy hair back?

use Pantene Volumizing shampoo. i use it and i have long, thick, soft hair.

My hair has been shedding really bad and now it's thin. What products can I use to get my healthy hair back?

You should go to the doctor. My aunt had thinning hair and it turned out that she had a thyroid condition. If all test come back good, then use these other porducts that were suggested.

My hair has been shedding really bad and now it's thin. What products can I use to get my healthy hair back?

My hair has been shedding really bad and now it's thin. What products can I use to get my healthy hair back?

Your diet may also be protein deficient, so you may want to increase your protein intake. I have a couple friends who've had this problem because they don't eat enough protein. You should probably also see a doctor because you could also have alopecia, an auto-immune disorder that causes body hair to thin and in some cases completely fall out.

My hair has been shedding really bad and now it's thin. What products can I use to get my healthy hair back?

Hair loss is an internal problem, not something you can treat from the outside. Go to a doctor to find out what is going on with your health.

My hair has been shedding really bad and now it's thin. What products can I use to get my healthy hair back?

First discuss with your doctor. It may be an indication of poor health that your not aware of or perhaps a poor diet, that you are probably aware of. It may be hereditary, any baldness in your family? Aunts, uncles, parents, grandparents. You may be anaemic. If it's diet or health related you may be able to be helped, if not, then it's a waste of money on potions %26amp; lotions. Shave it all off, that will mean a daily shave, of course, but you can buy an electric shaver for that purpose. Seems to be quite a fashion trend these days. Looks pretty good on the guys I've seen with it. Handsome, in fact, especially in a young man.

My hair has been shedding really bad and now it's thin. What products can I use to get my healthy hair back?

First go to the doctor and get a check up. Make sure it's nothing regarding your health.

Multivitamins help and there is also Hair vitamins that help. Drink milk. It's good for your hair and nails.

Most importantly, say a prayer every night that your hair comes back to normal. Every little thing helps. lol

Best of Luck!

My hair has been shedding really bad and now it's thin. What products can I use to get my healthy hair back?

no I've never used Dr. Miracle but i do use pantene shampoo and conditioner (white bottle with brown letters) it grew my hair 4 extra inches after my hair chipped off when i stopped getting perms plus it made my hair alot thicker. dont panic you're probably jus using bad hair products. also try a medicated shampoo just in case.

My hair has been shedding really bad and now it's thin. What products can I use to get my healthy hair back?

forget the products

be warned, all those products work by stimulating blood circulation which causes high blood pressure. if you have heart problems or high blood pressure in your family then you need to stay away from them.

go to your doctor for a blood test. they may find an answer like that.

if they have no answer then try acupuncture and chinese herbal medicine - it worked for me

you can also try sitting with your head between your knees for ten mins a day to stimulate the circulation in your head. massaging the head works too but you risk breaking the hair. sounds funny but it works

Help with a serious hair loss?

I have very thin hair and had problem with a hair loss since I remember. I am 27 and my hair are quite long but very sparce. On top of that I keep on loosing them all the time. I take vitamins, extra proteins, hair supplements, kelp, nothing helps! What shall I do? Is there anything that can prevent hair loss? Please advice as I am very concerned about my problem.

Help with a serious hair loss?

You could have alopecia. Have you spoken to a doctor? If you really do have it, it's a documented medical condition and you're certainly not alone. Definitely check into it with your MD.

Help with a serious hair loss?

you will need to consult with a doctor. or barring that, go to one of those hair club places. they can probably answer questions and help you get your hair back the way you want it

Help with a serious hair loss?

try coffee that works just put coffee in ur hair

Help with a serious hair loss?

I don't know what to eat, but there are things in food that are suppose to help. I was once told to rub olive oil on the hair and put a bag over it for the night and this is suppose to work after doing it for a week, but i don't know that either, it sounds liek a mess, but if it works, you could always put up with the mess. Good luck.

Help with a serious hair loss?

Accept it dude. Your going bald. Been there, done that. Believe me when I say if that's the worst thing that ever happens to you your doing better than most.

Help with a serious hair loss?

Some medications can cause hair loss. Are you taking any other medications besides the meds you've been taking for your hair?

Help with a serious hair loss?

Consult a doctor...

Also very important is keep urself tension free...

If u r tensed then thats also one of the reason for severe hair fall....

Don't leave ur hair, u should always tie them or put plat ...

Don't use harmful shampoos....

Don't take head bath with hot water, use warm water...

Don't comb hair when they are wet...

But if its hereditary then can't help... :-(

Help with a serious hair loss?

Hair loss is caused by many reasons such as malnutrition, illness, tension and other health problems. It is normal to shed some hair each day as part of a cycle of growing new hairs and loosing some. Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Help with a serious hair loss?

Since you still have hair, it is not as serious as you feel but none the less it needs to be looked at as it is of concern to you . Do not self medicate yourself and use soaps, shampoos, lotions, hair sprays etc., by your self. It is normal for hair to fall and regrow. If the hair are falling at a rapid pace baldness will be evident which can be patchy or global. Eat balanced healthy food. Since you have long hair comb them carefully and consult a dermatologist

Help with a serious hair loss?

Consult a homoeopath. You need constitutional treatment.

Help with a serious hair loss?

My suggestion is to drink plenty of water daily provided you dont have any scalp problem or any other genetic disorders.

Help with a serious hair loss?

consult doc..too much of vitamis and likewise stuff can spoil health...state of mental health also affects hair..keep cool...afterall,its matter of hair..just be glad that not many girls have thick hair these days...so why worry :-)

Help with a serious hair loss?

Just see whether you have dandruff. If not worry may be another cause. See a skin specialist doctor they are good at finding out the cause

Help with a serious hair loss?

A dermatologist or a skin specialist can prescribe you for your hairloss. And also please get your hormones levels checked, we women have male and female hormones in our body and if your hormones are producing too much of the male hormone, it can result to hairloss. Supplements, proteins will not help. You will have to get to the root of the problem by using internal medicine. Some dermatologists can give you cortisone shots in the area you are losing hair which is increase hairgrowth in that area. That therapy can be expensive but it is a most practical solution.

My hair is straight & thin, why does it take so long to dry it ? Thanks?

It might be the shampoo that your using is causing your hair to retain the moisture which is making it take soo long to dry.

My hair is straight %26amp; thin, why does it take so long to dry it ? Thanks?

I would love to get my hair cut and possibly get bangs but I am afraid of results..?

I have shoulder length hair, parted on side, blonde thin hair. I was thinking about getting bangs but afraid of possible results. Is there some place online where you can take a picture of yourself and experiment? Or what do you think I should do?

I would love to get my hair cut and possibly get bangs but I am afraid of results..?

Take your hair and put it in a very hight poney tail, flip the poney tail over your face so it looks like bangs, and that is how you see what bangs would look like on you!!

I would love to get my hair cut and possibly get bangs but I am afraid of results..?

go to your nearest hair shop they can get you a free consultation.

I would love to get my hair cut and possibly get bangs but I am afraid of results..?

i didnt think that i would look good with bangs, but when i got them, i loved them!

if you dont like the results, all you have to do is wear them up in a clip =]

I would love to get my hair cut and possibly get bangs but I am afraid of results..?

if your face is long or round shaped this would be good; go conservative first, (nose bridge) and slide cut to the side; as you get use to this, you may feel a bit braver about going shorter. Good Luck

I have really frizzy/thin/straight hair?

Do you know any creams/gel/etc, for non frizzy hair?

That ACTUALLY work?

I have really frizzy/thin/straight hair?

Herbal Essences None Of Your Frizzness

I have really frizzy/thin/straight hair?

Paul Mitchell's Skinny Serum.

Or straightening. :]

I have really frizzy/thin/straight hair?

I like Aussie Sydney Smooth, but I have curly hair so I don't know if it would be as good on straight hair.

I have really frizzy/thin/straight hair?

you can try the shampoo and conditioner from erbal essences i believe it says on the bottle anti-frizz or somethin like dat. you have to read the labels. follow the instructions. oh and remember to leave the conditioner in ur hair for at least a min and it whould work really well. DONT BLOW DRY YOUR HAIR.

I have really frizzy/thin/straight hair?

I use Pantene hair serum--it comes in a glass bottle. I also use a mouse called big sexy hair--it comes in a red container. Rub a small amount of mousse into your damp hair and add a little extra at the crown. Blow dry your hair upside down until it is almost dry and then flip over and use a round brush to style it and finish blow drying it. Finally, run over the ends with a large barrel curling iron to make your hair sleek. When you are finished, rub a dime sized amount of serum in your palms and run it through your hair, concentrating at the ends...

You will have gorgeous hair with lots of volume!!

I have really frizzy/thin/straight hair?

i use sunsilk staighten up and it contols frizz very well

I have really frizzy/thin/straight hair?

Ooo I use to have this problem really bad. My hair was extremely thin and it's naturally color but so unbelievably damaged from coloring and heat and the sun and chlorine. Phew my hair was a mess. So I didn't use any general shampoos and or conditioners. I used what was meant for my hair. I first got a hair treatment to kind of clean up it's damage. and then for about a month i used Biolage Fortifying Shampoo and Conditioner which REALLY restored my hair. I still use the fortifying shampoo but I changed my conditioner to Healthy Hair by "Big Sexy Hair" and it's been working really good. My hair never has frizzys and it feels a lot thicker. But I also released myself from straight ironing and heat curling and blow drying for a while. I limited that to about once a month. I can also suggest that when you shower before you rinse out your conditioner and shampoo with scalding hot water, turn the knob to freezing. It will lock in the hair cuticles and calm the frizzys. And if you need to blow dry, do it on the cold setting, otherwise just air dry. In all honesty though, the more shampoos and conditioners you experiment with the more you can tell the difference of what each one does for your hair and you'll find one that works WONDERS for you.

What can I do about my hair thinning?

I'm only twenty years old and my hair thinning. I think this happened when I lost a large amount of weight a few years back from doing an extended crash diet. What can I do? Is it expensive to go to a hair clinic to regrow hair? Do those over-the-counter products really work? I want fast results, if that's possible. This is really depressing for me and this will take away my self confidence immensely if I don't do something about it. I take multi-vitamins, eat healthy, exercise, and use special conditioners, but this doesn't seem to do a whole lot. Please help me!

What can I do about my hair thinning?

Go to: www.plasticsurgery.co.za and send the Doctor an e-mail. He is really good.

What can I do about my hair thinning?

I am pretty sure that it costs a lot to get hair implants. Try going to the doctor and seeing if they can prescribe anything that could help you. I've also seen ads for rogaine and that might help somewhat. Really I think the only solution is to get hair implants but that may cost quite a lot so until you can get the funds I would suggest that you buy a lot of really cute hats.

What can I do about my hair thinning?

These might be some reasons why your hair is doing that

mainly Significant weight loss(like you said)

Weighing down your hair with products such as conditioner

pulling at hair

Brushing roghly

those are all i can think of sorry

What can I do about my hair thinning?

Your best bet is to seek out a dermotologist. I had to when mine was thinning due to medicaitons that caused problems during my hair's rest cycle. They can identify the reason as well as tell you what to do to stall that or stop it if it can be stopped. I had to shock my hair by cutting it all off. It was way down my back past the middle of my bottom and I had to cut it short above the collar bone. It was either that or possible lose it all but they were right on the money with the diagnosis becasue within a week, it stopped falling out. Now after 5 years of keeping it short, I'm finally growing it back out.

What can I do about my hair thinning?

i've actually encounter lot of customer having this same problem and this is what they all feedback to me.Some of them spend lot of money going to hair clinic, they will need to spend few thousand dollar to sign package.and their feedback is not really gd.from what i survey, maybe u can try something affordable for the start like using this particular shampoo by the brand of PHYTO for Hair Thinning Women. It made of lot of plant extract, and it mild enough. Moreover,it help to stimulate hair growth and prevent further hairloss. U can get it either from SASA or Waston.

What can I do about my hair thinning?

When I was in my 20's and on the pill, my hair started falling out more than normal, and it really depressed me. Life moves on and changes, though, and after awhile I quit taking the pill and the problem stopped.

You should ask your doctor about your hair loss. If he gives you a stupid/dopey/too general/not good enough answer, ask a different doctor. There are plenty of them around and eventually you will find someone willing to listen and work with you to solve the problem.

What can I do about my hair thinning?

First things first, Since you are so young I would see a Doctor and have your Thyroid checked. This is something few people ever hear about but is a huge cause for thinning hair.

I have a Nanny (female) who is thinning quite a bit in the front of her head and was told to check her thyroid. This has helped her significantly. I hope this little known information helps you too.

(dont forget to look at dad %26amp; grandpa for hints to your future)

What products should i use/take/do for my hair type? which is..?

i have thin hair, the kind u are BORN with but never GROW OUT OF. usally peoples hair get thick by 10 (im 13), its kind of dry at the bottoms. i cut the splits but still. its also stringy, not so much greasy, it just never stays together, it seporates in strings, maybe because its thin. so what should i do/take/ or use to get THICKER, STONGER, HEALTHIER HAIR?

What products should i use/take/do for my hair type? which is..?

Take Vitamin E and unflavored gelatin. Always use conditioner and once or twice a month rub a lot of REAL mayonnaise into your hair and wrap with Saran wrap and heat with dryer or just leave wrapped for about 30 minutes. It will take two or more shampoos to get it all out. If you blow dry your hair turn your head down and blow dry from beneath.

What products should i use/take/do for my hair type? which is..?

sunsilk straightning shampoo and conditioner. it is perfect. ive used it and it works. pantene claims to fix ur type of problem but i dont like it. expiriment a little and see wat u come up with.

What products should i use/take/do for my hair type? which is..?

If this is genetic then you probably cant do too much to change it. I recommend taking 4000 mg of biotin daily along with 1 vitamin e tablet and a multivitamin. This will help your body get all the nutrients it needs and help your hair from the inside out. You can also invest in a good volumizing shampoo. Allow hair to air dry and try not to apply too much heat. Within a year you should have noticeably healthier hair.

I have a question about my hair?????

I fine kinda thin hair, and I like to straighten it everday but I always have to get my hair cut because it gets dead and frizzy too easily because of me straightening it...

I wanted to know what I could do with my hair so I don't always have to get it cut?

I have a question about my hair?????

Look for a hydrating shampoo. Your hair maybe very dry.

I have a question about my hair?????

you could probably find a moisturizing serum and it will help.

or you could get your hair straightened chemically.

I have a question about my hair?????

stop straightening it

I have a question about my hair?????

Get a product called "Hair Toys" i think it's by studio Fix, not 100% sure. But it'll gloss your hair and belive me, it'll totally help. Also, look into using Redkin for hair treatment, expensive but totally worth it!!!! and use a ceramic straightener, like Connair.

I have a question about my hair?????

Deep condition it once a week or so - or use a light leave-in conditioner. Also, get some sort of heat therapy serum for your strands. That'll help protect your hair.

I have a question about my hair?????

wont you try getting a perm

I have a question about my hair?????

well...my advice would be to stop straightening it...for a little while. Or try getting a special shampoo that will help your hair heal from the burning.

I have a question about my hair?????

Go to your local store and buy a heat protector for your hair...i always straighten my hair every single day weather its rain or shine....lol....this protector really works and you have nice healthy SRATIGHT hair!

I have a question about my hair?????

Don't straighten as often, and when you do, use a heat-protectant creme or spray, (L'Oreal Studioline Hot Straight Straightening Creme $3, Mane 'N Tail Barrier spray $5, Kiehls Heat Protective Straightening Balm $15) and use a mosturizing shampoo. Also, keep your straightener on a low hear setting.

I have a question about my hair?????

I also have to flat iron my hair every day as well. For a very long time I went through the dry hair breaking off stage. Really all you need to do is to get a great deep conditioner to use on your hair to keep it moisturized. If you have a Sally Beauty Supply store near you try the Ion Products they have a conditioning packet that you can buy for .99 and its the same thing that they used at the salon I worked at for the deep condtioning treatments and charged 29.99 to do. You can do it at home with a hair dryer or warm towel to activate. Also try investing in a product like Redkin Spray Starch when you straighten your hair it will protect it and keep it smooth and straight all day.. Good Luck..

I have a question about my hair?????

learn to live with curls an do things to accent the hair you have an not process it so much

I have a question about my hair?????

I suggest conditioning your hair daily but shampooing only every other day. Shampoo wears out hair and causes it to get frizzy. I also suggest replacing the good ol' wrap your hair in a towel method with scrunching it with paper towels. It sounds crazy but It prevent flyaways and ringleys. As for split ends, rub a tiny day of olive oil on them daily or cover a comb with olive oil and comb it through the split ends. Also, use a shampoo your stylist reccomends for your hair.

I have a question about my hair?????

you can buy this hair protecting stuff. you put it on before you sraighten it and then it wont get dry and frizzy. also when you take a bath or shower, put lots of conditioner and let it set for about 5 minutes.

I have a question about my hair?????

Don't worry I have suffered from the same problem.Cheap straighteners like conair and all walmart brands will burn you hair and cause dead ends no matter what.I have tried every straightener from walmart and they all seem to do the same thing.I recommend either a chi or a ISO these are both fairly expensive straighteners but once you have bought-en all the cheap ones and see that they all do the same thing then you break about even. But as for the stuff to keep your ends from breaking I use sleek look by matrix. The hot Iron smoother has worked wonders for me and all my friends who I have talked in to trying it.And the funny thing about this stuff is that it is so simple to use.Your spray a thin layer onto your hair and then do it to it. No puttin it in a making sure its even and not clumped it works great. You can get the whole line of sleek look by matrix at any salon or beauty shop.Hope this helps and good luck.

Hi ..how to keep hair from flying ????/?

hahah your hair is flying away from your head?%26gt;

hah um yeah thats preety weird cuz i never seen that b4 so idk how to answer that.

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

so i need a straight answer with a why or why not.do guys like big hair or the adverage plain jane flat thin hair.(no offens)

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

I think you meant hair with volume, People are getting big hair mix with afro. Volume hair is way better than flat hair, thats why their so many volume hair products , and all the celebrities have volume hair.

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

What the **** is big hair?!

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

i'm not into afro style.

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

I think they like other things big, not the hair!

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

I personally do not like big hair.

It reminds me of the 80s, and I hate the 80s.

I usually like natural looks much more.

I like a girl who spends her time reading and doing things that are useful rather than someone who spends all their time in front of a mirror worrying about her appearance.

But that's just me. There's no way I can answer your question for "guys" in general.

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

As a straight guy I like women with longer hairs since it makes them look more feminine; Its just a personal preferences though

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

Only if it's big pubic hair. I like trees that I can swing from.

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

I like big hair, not affro style though, I like it cuz her face looks so cute in that chunk of hair of hers. haha. but it's cute to me. that's all. ^_^. please don't tell her, she'll probably smack me and go cut it. ^_^

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

I'm not a fan of really big hair. If you look like you could be in an 80's hair metal band, you've gone too far. BUT you need to remember that the question you're asking is really subjective to the audience. Everyone has different opinions.

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

OK its all about a fetish i mean like if he or you like hair being pulled back when having sex dogie style then have long but then i know i like it long but every once in a while i need a change and if she puts it up in a pony tail its like a whole new girl and she just looks so damn good but as far as Afro then nope

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

if you're talking about on your pussy yes , they like to chew on it. lol

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

I like everything about in a girl that seems to be nice and wonderful. I like that kind of her, it's my nature. you seems to be so beatiful, send me a pic.

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

I prefer women to have plain, straight and long hair. I feel that the woman will look more pretty with such kind of hair style. Also, I also like to caress woman's hair, therefore it will be better for them to have long, straight hair:)

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

i am sure u mean long hair and wud say, if u can maintain it long enough to b of hiplength then its v. beautiful,

otherwise to have a nice shoulder length or a bit more than that with step cut does give a cool look too!

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

not really... but also wont like a short haired ....

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

;-o Well'. I'm not that BIG!?! on or as`far as "BIG~HAIR"!!?!! I guess it mattered to me even less in the BIG HAIR decade !![1980's]~!! But now I seem to like the short styles !! Especially on females !! For instance hair does like ones you'd see on... singer SADE,TONI BRAXTON !! the 1980's Pat Benatar hair do`'s`'.~!!! `'R"r,r`r.r'.-

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

I don't know of others but yes I do like long hair on girls.

Do guys like big hair on their girls?

For me I don't like a big hair to the girls. I mean I'm not looking at the beautiful in outside. I'm looking in inside........

Hair product advice!?

Hi!

I have quite thin hair which is cut just above my shoulders. I like to have it quite messy looking and give it a lot of volume, but all the products I use only last for an hour or so then my hair goes flat again :(

Anyone know anything that would work for me?

Hair product advice!?

Any reputable brand of volumising shampoo and then dry your hair upside down and then style the way you want.

Hair product advice!?

Volumising mousse and spray

Hair product advice!?

Gel and hair spray should help you. Just use the ones that contain no alcohol unless they will make your hair fall out.

Hair product advice!?

Try the big sexy hair line...it works for my sister...her hair is so thin and straight. Getting a few subtle layers also helped her to achieve the look. GL:)

Hair product advice!?

Hey i have exactly the same problem.

I DO blow dry it upside down though and use curling products even though my hair is straight.

I also use a build up removal shampoo.. over conditioning makes my hair REALLY flat.

If in doubt.. dont brush your hair for a few weeks.. and buy dreading wax.... you'll have messy volume in no time!

I need MAJOR advice on how to style my hair...and i'm a straight male, go figure!?

Attached is a link of me with my hair in its current state (there are 2 pictures). I need advice on how to style it, what to use, and all of that...i want to grow it long for the first time ever. I'm not sure whether I have thick or thin hair and whether that will make a difference.

Also, the link is NOT a virus and no, i'm not fishing for compliments. Thanks everyone!

**You lose five Man-Points**

It would have been more, but you don't know if your hair is thin or thick, so I cut you some slack.

I'm stumped..don't know. Follow your intuition!

I need MAJOR advice on how to style my hair...and i'm a straight male, go figure!?

keep it how it is or shave it short...but don't put a lot of gel in it [the "hard" look is NOT sexy]

Once you get your hair thinned, you can't get it thick again, right?

I'm still deciding whether or not I should get my hair thinned. It's really thick and annoying sometimes..I don't know if I should.Help me!

Once you get your hair thinned, you can't get it thick again, right?

are you talking about chemically straightening your hair?

if you are then yeah your hair does get thick again, i'm thinking about after a year or two it'll slowly come back to your normal hair texture. but i think it depends on how well the person does it to your hair.

if you are talking about getting it thinned out like having the person who usually cuts your hair, then i'm pretty sure it'll get thick again once it grows back in.

hope that helped!

Once you get your hair thinned, you can't get it thick again, right?

Well, as long as you continually get it thinned, every 6 weeks, t'll keep it under control

Once you get your hair thinned, you can't get it thick again, right?

I used to get mine thinned out, they are actually just cutting extra off in different layers and not cutting it down to the roots so it will grow back, it just takes longer to get back to where it was. Probably in another 6 months or so you'll need it thinned again. I'm 57 now so it thins itself, lol.

Once you get your hair thinned, you can't get it thick again, right?

When they thin your hair, they basically just cut shorter layers into your hair. You can't see that your hair has been thinned, unless they thin it way too much, but you can feel the difference. It's not going to be permanent, you'll need to get it done everytime you get your hair cut if you want to keep it that way. I do it on most of the men's hair that I cut. Especially during the summer, it helps keep you from getting so hot. But if your hair is really thick, it would be great for you. Just make sure the person who cuts your hair knows what they are doing!

Once you get your hair thinned, you can't get it thick again, right?

omg no! you should be very thankful that you have thick hair because when you reach menopause your hair will start to thin out on the count of hormone replacement. i have very thick long natural curly hair....... so my hair is really thick on the count of my natural curls.

i would say no. don't have it done.

you can curl, straighten your hair and it looks sooooooo much better being thick then paper thin is when it doesn't look attractive. hope i made you change your mind:)

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

My hair is falling out with every shower I take, gobs at a time! My boyfriend is concerned, should I be? I've tried some vitamins, but they dont help much. Should I change my diet? Try a different shampoo? Or is it hereditary? (mom has real thin hair) Please point me in the right direction. Thanks for your help.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

Thyroid disease can make your hair fall out?

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

Could be stress, could be something completely different. My advice is to see a doctor.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

If your mom lost her hair, too, it's probably hereditary.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

it could just be Genetics my mom has really thin hair and so did my grand mother.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

If you seek medical attention, the doctor will most usually check your thyroid function. Hair loss can be a result of thyroid malfunction, but it can be caused by other things. Not sure how much diet, hair products, or heredity play into that. Other than that, it's normal to lose some hair everyday. Anything too excessive, check with your doctor.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

it is probably breaking off--not falling out wear your hair down--never pull it up when it is wet! ever..try using panteen pro v extra strengthening do not brush your hair when its wet either if you use flat iron make sure you use protector on your hair.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

I've heard that falling hair or hair loss could be caused by stress and other psychological conditions. I think it would be good for you to try to eliminate possible causes so that you can get to the source. Do it one at a time so you can see what's working. You could also have alopecia so do ask your doctor about it. Gobs of hair falling out is definitely not normal.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

is your bf poisoning you..thats a sign of arsenic poisoning..keep an eye on him

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

Since your mom's hair is thin, it could be hereditary. It also could be many things like: thryoid insufficiency, stress, medication, if taking any, recent anesthesia, etc. If it continues, see your Dr. To get a definite diagnosis, a sample of your hair can be sent to a lab for analysis.

Help! My hair is falling out and I am only 24! Why?

Try Rogaine.

How to care for curly hair?

I have really curly, thin hair. It looks thick. I called 5 places today and 3 said FLAT IRON it. I don't think I want to do that. Best site or way to care for curly, frizzy, long hair?

How to care for curly hair?

My best advice is to scrunch mousse into it (I like Garnier Fructis for curly hair), then let it air dry for at least 20 minutes. Then blow dry with a diffuser, turning your head upside down and sideways. Then scrunch it and shape it with your fingers and spray with a little Pantene hair spray.

Mousse + air drying makes all the difference for frizz control and nice curl definition.

If you want more advice, check out http://ylcf.org/gotcurl/. It's a fantastic resource for curly hair.

How to care for curly hair?

buy frizz ease by john frieda, it works

How to care for curly hair?

Best to embrace your curliness and NOT try to fight it. Only way to do this is to see a good stylist who will give you an age-appropriate, flattering style. Good luck, m'dear, and remember: Whatever happens, it's only hair and IT GROWS BACK. Be brave and have fun!!!

How to care for curly hair?

only wash your hair 3-4 times a week...after shampooing and conditioning, add some frizz ease serum to wet hair...then add a golf-ball size of mousse to your hair and scrunch with a towel lightly...then diffuse your hair for a couple minutes with your hair flipped over...allow to air dry the rest of the way and avoid touching it before it dries (makes it firzzier) deep condition every other week

How to care for curly hair?

-use loreal anti-frizz cream after washing your hair

-use heavy conditoners when washing hair

-don't use clear shampoos too much

How to care for curly hair?

wow you are lucky you've found a person like me to tell you ALL about this. My hair is Long, Blonde, And EXTREMELY curly.

Everyone tell's me that they "love" my curls, but i just hate them.

if you want your hair straight, you need to buy a straightener.

I recommend Remington [ i think] wet-to-straight.

the only thing about this straightener is that if you use it too many times your hair will get damaged, and thats not what you want if you have thin hair.

To make your curls look beautiful and long, you need to take care of your hair first. if you have split ends, go to the hair cuttery and they will cut a small length off of your hair.

When you take a shower,

you can use either 2 types of shampoo/c:

-For Dry/Frizzy hair

-For Curls/Waves [ i use this one]

Right when your done taking your shower, try doing your hair immediately so it won't dry and lose it's moisture.

First: Get all of the knots out of your hair using a hairpick [your hairbrush can sometimes leave you split ends].

Second:Flip your hair upside down and put somthing that will hold your curls, like mousse or hair gel.

Third:Scrunch your hair untill mousse/gel is spread evenly.

Fourth: While your hair is still flipped, Blowdry it on Low while scrunching it with your hands.

* You and add mousse after blowdrying if it isn't holding that well.

good luck with your curls.

HELP!!! Woman with hair loss/thinning hair!?

I know i have extreme stress, and hormone problems. theres nothing i can do about either. So what CAN i do to help my hair grow thicker around my hair part? Womens rogaine? andy recipes for hair masks or something?

HELP!!! Woman with hair loss/thinning hair!?

I have the same thing...it started when I lost a lot of weight on a low carb diet and the hair never came back. I also have hormone issues and tons of stress. I spent close to a thousand dollars with a dermatologist trying to find out why my hair was thinning. That was about 10 years ago and the hair is just as thin as ever. For an Asian male without much hair on their chest...?

I do not have much dark hair on my chest, only light, thin hairs. Is it normal to have small bumps/ ingrown hair looking bumps on your chest. Could this be related to HIV symptoms of skin rash? Or is this a normal thing to have when growning hair on your chest?

For an Asian male without much hair on their chest...?

everyone is different. but no it is not hiv, its normal

For an Asian male without much hair on their chest...?

LOL! I think you should exfoliate 'cause that can happen from dead skin cells. Get that scrubbing thing we all have in the shower and scrub. If the bump is huge like abnormally then you should go see a doctor. I think it's just dead skin cells trapping the hair. :D

For an Asian male without much hair on their chest...?

it's normal. So dont worry bcoz i also have light thin hairs all over my body(-_-").That bumps is not related to hiv.

Help on hair styling???!!!?

I have light brown straight thin hair about shoulder length. I am trying to grow it out to chest length, about 3 more inches. I have no idea how to style it once it gets that long, and I need some ideas! I have an oval face shape if that helps. Thanks in advance for any help. Please include pictures!!!!

Help on hair styling???!!!?

long layers is always the best bet. have your stylist cut the layers at the most flattering for your face...and you can do just about anything with that length! and if you feel like your hair is too thin just add mouse for volume and blow it out!

Help on hair styling???!!!?

well you should have lots of layers.

it would look really cute. but just make sure it doesnt look too much like a mullet because that would not be good.

but layers lots.

What is the best shampoo to use to get thicker hair?

I used to have really thick hair. My senior year I found out I had lupus and lost a lot of it. I'm not bald or anything, and my lupus is in remission, but my hair is still thin. I think it runs in my family though, because my mother has very thin hair. She even has a bald spot. I'm 19 so hopfully I won't have to worry about that for awhile.

What is the best shampoo to get some of my thickness back. Is there any treatment that can make my hair grow thicker?

What is the best shampoo to use to get thicker hair?

Try Nioxin products. My fiancee uses it, and her hair has gotten A LOT thicker. She had thinning hair from a hormone imbalance, and using Nioxin shampoo and conditioner has made it look thicker, and has also made some of it grow back.

It isn't cheap, but it can make a huge difference. Good luck, and stay healthy!

This is my hair:

How can I make my hair look thinner? It got very thick.. I heard layering near the bottom or something... or razor cutting it? and one barber told me that if i just ask for it to thin out it will thin it out but it will make it grow puffier, and thats the last thing i need... My hair is shorter now, like two inches above my shoulders... and short+puffy=not a good combination

How to make hair look thinner?

well wash it with a shampoo for dry and damaged hair, it leaves it very thin, and straighten it

How to make hair look thinner?

There is a pair of scissors with comb like blades barbers and hairdressers use it.

How to make hair look thinner?

You can have it razored that would take bulk out of it..... also layers help too. Though from looking at the pic it doesn't look puffy to me...... Flat iron makes hair not be so puffy also.

How to make hair look thinner?

If you thin your hair it will look like you're balding. i say juss try a diff thing. like put it up er sumthing. i like it anyways

How to make hair look thinner?

Certain type of haircuts make seem the illusion of thinner hair. Ask your hair stylist.

How to make hair look thinner?

You could be a hair folicle donner for my husband.lol

How to make hair look thinner?

paul mitchell makes a shampoo and conditioner called "super skinny" it makes your hair look and feel about 50% thinner. its really great, you should try it.

%26lt;3

How to make hair look thinner?

Layering makes your hair thicker, and so does razor cutting. Use anti-frizz conditioner or something. Invest in a straightening iron, which works well for flat and thin hair.

How to make hair look thinner?

well if you have the time, then you should try to straighten your hair.

layering will decrease how much hair you have, but it will increase the volume so it still will look thick

try blow drying your hair and then applying some serum to make it flatter

How to make hair look thinner?

Ask for your hairdresser to thin out your heavy hair and consider a body wave or a different style.

How to make hair look thinner?

this is totally true! Try it it really works: Compleatly soak your hair in mayo and leave it in for 5 hours each day for a week. It really works im not joking. i thought it was ridiculous but then i tried it and it really works!!!!!!!!!

How to make hair look thinner?

definitely ask the beautician. I would go with thinning it out first, and if that is not thin enough, then add the razor.

How to make hair look thinner?

I have very thick hair...and what I have found is...the layering or razor cutting...texturizing...and having the stylist use thinning shears as well. Just ask your stylist what she recommends. Layers really help though.

Then from there it is as much the product you use when styling it. Have your stylist go over the best gels or mousses to use for your hair type.

I generally blow dry and round brush it instead of curling it.

How to make hair look thinner?

use a hair thinning scissors or just go to the hairdressers n ask them to do it 4 u..

How to make hair look thinner?

I have thick short hair as well now......it's also pretty frizzy......I have had it styled well and use an iron........buy products to use with the iron to prevent any kind of burn........but they are very safe now...............my hair looks strait and smoothe and I love it! Good luck!

How to make hair look thinner?

To thin out your hair get your hair cut with texturizing scissors. These scissors are scissors with a full blade on one end and the other end resembles a comb. If not, get it bladed by your hair stylist. DONT get it cut choppy it just looks gross. If not, you can try putting a section of your hair behind your ear and it can thin it out kind of but you'll need shorter layers to help it not look so put back. Short hair isnt good either so think of getting extensions. If you have no time to get it cut by your hair stylist, take the risk on cutting it yourself. Use regular scissors or haircutting scissors (if you have any) and cut your hair upward meaning that you take the scissors, point them upward, and start cutting. Also, you can grab sections of hair and hold them up and moving the scissors up and down lightly and start opening and closing the scissors which cuts the hair barely NOT fully. Usually when thinning out your hair, it looks better w/ a scene cut. Getting a scene cut means shorter layers on top and longer layers on bottom. It really helps thinning out your hair, thats how mine is and i cut my own hair. If you want, when going to a salon ask if they know either vidal sassoon or tony%26amp;guy cuts. I graduated @ both cosmetology schools and theyre really nice cuts that are unique. Honestly, i love hair cuts that look like a firecracker exploded in them :)

How to make hair look thinner?

OMG i ALWAYS have this problem cuz i have SO much hair. but i found out that just like you said, if you create a LOT OF LAYERS. and it has to be like HARDCORE LAYERS. A LOTTTTT~ then your hair loos SO MUCH THINNER. also, if you're willing to spend a bit of money, get it permanently straightened. If not, straighening a few strands from the inside to out will only take you a couple minutes in the morning! (or do it at night, trust me, it stays thin overnight) well anyways. the layering REALLY does the trick. (: GOOD LUCKK! oh yahh! also when you sleep, sleep with a hoodie on. (and put the hood over your hair DUH) then it flattens it a bit more in the mornings (: HOPE THIS HELPED!

How to make hair look thinner?

Get A Razor Cut. Razor Cuts Dont Take No Length Off They Just Thin And Add Definition To Hair.

What type of hair do should I get?

I have very fine, thin hair. Other than the occasional cut and hair dye I've never done anything with it. Any suggestions?

What type of hair do should I get?

if you have thin haor get a perm that is big curls to give it more body

What type of hair do should I get?

i bet it looks nice the way it is

What type of hair do should I get?

Get a "Don King" hairdo.

What type of hair do should I get?

Short hair.

What type of hair do should I get?

You can go to a beauty salon and see if they have a special shampoo or something to thicken your hair. They could also give good suggestions on certain styles%26lt;3!! Good Luck

What type of hair do should I get?

Try some side bangs if you don't have them already.

Layer it.

What type of hair do should I get?

If it is fine you should keep it long, try layering it to give it a little volume. DON'T go short.

What type of hair do should I get?

wave hair

What type of hair do should I get?

one length short hair up to the chin area

looks great on ppl with fine hair

What type of hair do should I get?

I would get it angled, but not layered because it sounds too thin.

Ask the person that is cutting your hair how it should be angled according to your face shape...that should get you a cute haircut that you'll like. :)

What type of hair do should I get?

Extensions honey :)

What type of hair do should I get?

People with very fine hair should not grow hair too long or it will end up looking stringy. I suggest medium length hair with longer layers and maybe some blunt bangs if you want a change however bangs may take some work with a hair dryer and curling iron to get a side swept look. Ask a stylist for suggestions about coloring fine hair to give the illusion of more volume. I have read that dying the bottom underlying portion of your hair darker and the top brighter makes your hair look thicker.

What type of hair do should I get?

wig

What type of hair do should I get?

First, what styles do you like? Second, which of those do you think will look good on you? Third, shop for a stylist, don't just call any shop for an appointment and accept anyone who is assigned to cut you hair. You could go to a shop and discuss the possibilities with stylists, and question what styles work well for fine hair. Or, get referrals for a stylist from friends.

Here's to your new look!!!

P.S. Here's to Jeff's (with the rude comment) hair falling out... if it hasn't already!!!

What type of hair do should I get?

you should just were it short for the summer. try wrapping it and flat iron your hair or try wearing a bob ponytails are nice to in the summer.

What type of hair do should I get?

i think you should get a mohawk

LS IT POSSIBLE THAT MY HAIR GETS WAVIER EASIER IF I USE A FLAT IRON THAT IS TOO HOT?

well i have a really good flat iron and it's really hot. like above 400 degrees i think. it's an FHI (not chi) and it's professional. i think its too hot bc i have thin hair. i already know it does more damage..but it seems like my hair curls easier when i use it instead of a conair one that you could buy at a drug store. i think it's under 300 degrees. yea so what i mean is that my hair starts to curl easier when it's foggy. could it be that my flat iron is too hot? or am i just imagining things?

LS IT POSSIBLE THAT MY HAIR GETS WAVIER EASIER IF I USE A FLAT IRON THAT IS TOO HOT?

yes if your hair straightener is too hot it will frizz and curl your hair, if you have fine hair your want to stay around 350 degrees, if it is foggy outside or humid and your hair has natural curl then it will curl when you go outside, if yourwant your hair to stay straight then use a straightening cream and a cooler straightener, if you want it to be wavy/curly then after you take a shower twiat it up into a bun and let it dry like that and then when you take it out it will look like very natural beachy waves

LS IT POSSIBLE THAT MY HAIR GETS WAVIER EASIER IF I USE A FLAT IRON THAT IS TOO HOT?

Yea, I think the higher the temperature, the more damage it does to your hair. That is maybe why your hair has become frizzy throughout the day.

LS IT POSSIBLE THAT MY HAIR GETS WAVIER EASIER IF I USE A FLAT IRON THAT IS TOO HOT?

yes, because if you have thin hair

you're pretty much burning your hair

and causing LOTS of damage.

Try turning it to a lower setting

not to low. But i think that would help.

LS IT POSSIBLE THAT MY HAIR GETS WAVIER EASIER IF I USE A FLAT IRON THAT IS TOO HOT?

Definitely, the higher the temperature, the more damage to your hair. It's even more damaging on fine and thin hair, also on blonde hair because it has either no or very little cuticle layer. Try turning the temperature down before you use it and always use a protective spray or cream before any heat styling, including blow drying.

I am getting hair extensions and want to save the mopst money...?

How to get rid of hair tangles?

The tips of my hair are always so tangled, what can I do? I always shampoo a little and condition a lot every 2 days. I have long, thin hair, which is fine until about 4 inches from the bottom and its all frizzy mess. I want to be able to wear my hair down! I can comb it ok and then 10mins after its frizzy again. It always parts into strands, I'd like to to flow as smooth and flowing if that makes any sense. Any suggestions?

How to get rid of hair tangles?

Use a moisterizing conditioner. Try to leave it in for about 3-5 minutes before rinsing it out. WHen you get out of the shower put a "Leave-in conditioner" in your hair, this will help with the frizzies and it will detangle it.

Try to stay away from the walmart brand shampoos and conditions.

I recommend: Redken, Biolage, Joico-K pac

How to get rid of hair tangles?

This is the best!

http://www.infusium23.com/us/index.jsp

I use it now and I also had a neighbor whos hair got all tangled and matted and I put in the infusium leave in conditioner and it combed right out, its great to use to for tangles and damage it leaves your hair soft also and has not smell to it. I have tried lots of things and it seems to be the best.

Good luck...

How to get rid of hair tangles?

do you straighten it

this also helps to get rid of frizz

you can also buy frizz creams

sometimes its better not to use a lot of conditioner

How to get rid of hair tangles?

When you're in the shower, use a conditionner/treatment that you can leave in for about 10 minutes. I can recommend Terax. It's phenomenal, expensive, but since you only use it about twice a week, itll last a while.

when you get out of the shower, use a Leave in conditionner, usually comes in a spray bottle, i recommend senscience or biosilk.

How to get rid of hair tangles?

I use SunSilk "Straighten Up" creme. You put a dime size amount in your hand and rub equal amounts through your hair. The good thing about this stuff is that you can put it in your hair when it's wet OR dry! You can let your hair dry on its own and get waves, or you can keep brushing it out until it's dry for straighter hair. Either style, it smoothes your hair out, "de-frizzifies" it and you have a LOT less tangles. It's great, and I love it.

You can usually find them at Wal*Mart stores and ones similar to that at about 3 bucks for 7 oz. Look for the purple bottle. :]

How to get rid of hair tangles?

combing your hair will only frizz your hair more, try trimming your hair

How Do I Get Thicker Hair Fast?

I have really thin hair. I hate it! It looks like it's dead or something. It's just so lifeless. How do I get big, bouncy, shiny hair? I've tried a million-one shampoos and conditioners! I've blowed dried my hair upside down! Nothing seems to work! SOMEBODY HELP! Thanks....

How Do I Get Thicker Hair Fast?

idk my hair is sooooooo thick i want it a little thinner

How Do I Get Thicker Hair Fast?

Get some biotin...it is a bottle of vitamins, usually runs about 7.00 at wal-mart. .. but it does take a month to start working.

How Do I Get Thicker Hair Fast?

omg i had the same problem. i started using the dove volumizing shampoo and conditioner. in about 2 weeks you'll see a lot of changes in your hair it works great.

How Do I Get Thicker Hair Fast?

Well, if shampoos and conditioners haven't worked than one of your only options is to spend a decent amount of money. You can go to a salon and get extensions. That can be very expensive though so, if you're looking for something cheaper, visit a beauty supply shop and try clip in extension pieces. They're expensive, but not as expensive as as going to a salon. Plus, they last longer. Have you tried Herbal Essences volumizing shampoo and conditioner? It worked great for me. A volumizing mousse wouldn't hurt either.

How Do I Get Thicker Hair Fast?

i jsut bought bed head cocky it's a thickening paste for fuller thicker looking and feelin hair i havent tryed it but i will ons unday when i wash my hair it was 18 bucks at the salon where i got it from

:}

i 閳?bed head

Best product for straightening hair?

*I have sort of thin hair and I straighten it every day. The ends stick out and look really ugly. What hair styling products are best for protecting hair from damage but also smooth the ends?

Best product for straightening hair?

BioSilk. You can get it in most salons, and some might even give you a sample for free. Any of the Farouk Chi products are good. The silicone will smooth your problems out, and protect your hair from heat damage.

Best product for straightening hair?

I say go see a pro.

Best product for straightening hair?

frizz- izz

Best product for straightening hair?

Kiehl's heat protecting, straightening serum would work wonders for your hair. You can buy this from Nordstrom or on line.

Best product for straightening hair?

I use Poker Straight Glistening Straightening Balm.

Best product for straightening hair?

I have been using Pantene Pro-V for year's now , and everyone comment's on how good of a job my hair dresser does .... ( little do they know , I don't even go to the salon. )

Best product for straightening hair?

If you have the money- search for an excellent licensed cosmetologist to have Japaneses Hair Straightening!! It will change your life! If you have chemically treated hair, you will need to find a cosmetologist that is trained with Bio-ionics- http://www.bioionic.com/ You will read testimonials. FIND A NEARBY SALON %26amp; I guarantee will make you want to have this done. Price range here in Virginia ranges between $600-$1000+ depending on the length of your hair. It is costly, but extremely effective. Find a reputable salon, they should offer free consultations! You can look up a location nearest you by zip code =)

If your looking for a cheaper solution, purchase ionic shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer and flat-iron. MAKE SURE THEY ARE IONIC!! Ion technology has been proven to be effective more so than general hair products to protect and change the charge in your hair that will produce shine, strength and reduce frizzy hair. Before becoming a cosmetologist I used harmful straighteners on my hair that caused it become straight frizzy unruly and now after having the Bio-ionic treatment I have silky smooth shiny straight hair. Everyone tells me how beautiful it is.

Go to Sally's if you don't have the money and request for them to show you ionic products. Also, purchase Bio-silk (get from CVS or Walgreens now-- or local salon) hair serum it's clear like an oil, before hair spraying your due; place pea size amount and rub on hands, distribute evenly-- MY FAVORITE LIFESAVING PRODUCT. Carry this around in your bag and say goodbye to frump girl!

Best product for straightening hair?

pantene works well, due to the fact that the conditioner actually leaves a slight build-up on your hair shaft...it kinda coats it until you wash it again...also ic by fantasia makes a lot of good treatments, and they have a great serum that you use before your flat iron that makes hair shiny and manageable...but also remember that you have to do regular treatments and condition each time you wash your hair...evp3 treatments are great...

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

UGH!! This is REALLY starting to freak me out!! I remember the first time I pulled a FREAKISHLY huge handful of hair out of my hair brush... it was about a week after Thanksgiving, so my daughter was almost 3 months old. I thought, "hmm... this is disturbing..."

I researched on www.babycenter.com why new moms lose so much hair (GREAT website, BTW... love it), so I know why, and I also know that hair loss after giving birth is normal...

BUT ARRRGH!! I really am starting to worry, and I wonder if it will EVER stop falling out! I'm starting to really get scared! It has been falling out for 2 months now! I have always liked my hair... Now, at a time when I am unhappy with the way I look (I hate my new post-pregnancy body), I really can't emotionally afford to have such thin hair, too!

I'm not really sure what I am looking for here... Reassurance? Rememdies? A hug... haha... Understanding? Validation? I don't know...

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

i asked this same question on here at about 5 mo's lol.

we've made it to month 8 - almost- and the hair loss hasn't totally stopped, but it's not shedding and getting everywhere constantly anymore. once i started eating more calcium and balancing my diet with less processed foods, lots of water, too... it helped.

i have this in common with other moms too. it could be related to a lack of protein and nutrition mixed with breastfeeding, baby's sucking it all out :) so make sure YOU are taking care of you, too...i know how that can be.

mothering.com has a lot of good recipes for moms, bf'ing moms in particular because of their dietary needs.

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

Get a good haircut--seriously :-)

That's what I did and it made a world of difference for me since mine fell out for several months and I didn't have much to begin with...

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

R U kidding? Your a mom now, it will always fall out!

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

My son is 6 mo old and I will let you know when my towel stops looking like Cousin It washed his face with it. I'm thinking 9 months, since it stopped shedding for approximately that long it will probably take an equal amount of time for that hair to stop falling out.

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

I can't give you an answer but I can tell you I'm sure you are a very beautiful person and not to stress..that doesn't help much..lol and I can't give you a hug so this will have to do ((((((YOU)))))) lol I hope everything works out for you and remember..don't stress =0) Good Luck!!

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

Are you still taking your pre-natal vitamins? It might help. I didn't have this problem but if I did I would think it was nutritional or hormonal....Make sure you're eating right and talk to your doc about it. Good luck :)

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

oh girl i feel ya!!

my nursling is 7 months old and mine just quit falling out....i really thought i would go bald

most likely it will cease to shed in about a month or so

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

Maybe check with a doctor for reasurance.I have three kids, two of which are twins and I never experienced that,Does it have something to do with breastfeeding?I'd cut sick if my hair started falling out.Maybe your could try the NUTRI-OX system,it is designed for thinning and hair loss.It feels good on the scalp.

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

Just take it easy . It will solve in another 6weeks. Good luck!

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

I'm experiencing the same thing and my daughter is 5 months old! Luckily I have very thick hair. Everytime I take a shower, I literally pull out another head of hair! I'm wondering when it will stop too.... At least you know you're not the only one!! :)

My daughter is almost 5 months old... When will my hair stop falling out?!?!?!?

My son just turned 4 mths and about a month ago mine started to fall out. I hate it cause my hair is everywhere and the baby constantly has a strand wrapped around his little hand and he's chewing on it. Gross gross gross. After my first, it last until he was about 6 mths. I also never had thick hair and feared I was going to be bald at the end. I even though about getting rogaine but they don't recommend using it for postpartum hairloss. Congrats a your baby and don't worry, loads of other women are in the same boat. And about the postpartum body, I have some good muffin tops going now since the birth od the baby.
