Hair straightening help?

i recently got a haircut but i don't like how the layers are kind of short in the front so i straighten my hair with a flat iron to make them look longer. i have really fine, thin hair.

i work long hours, how can i get it to stay stick- straight the whole day without having to use any hairspray? (i hate the feeling of it in my hair)

Try a leave-in conditioner before straightening your hair. They make them in a gel-like form (that's not sticky) or a spritz. I'd go with the spritz. I know you want to avoid hairspray, but Biolage makes an aerosal spray that, if used lightly a few inches away, is a great %26amp; strong finishing hold that isn't sticky or crunchy.

Good luck :)

invest in some GHD's (its in the name - good hair day!). i bought mine for 鎷?20. i know they were pricey, but they were so worth it! i used to have remington ones, and they turned my hair curly as soon as i got out side! but GHD's keep my hair straight for longer. heres the webiste for more infomation :http://www.ghdhair.com/

hope i helped!

Use a straightening serum like Frizz-Ease or Aveda's Hang Straight. I have naturally wavy hair but always straighten it. With a serum it lasted a good 2 days.

ok so you need 3 products

mouse

leave in conditioner

and serum (like paul mitchel skinny serum)

the mouse is realy going to help keep your hair straigh and it doesnt feel like hair spray

when you get out of the shower put those products in and squeeze all the water out of your hair with a towl

you have to blow dry your hair

all you need is a brush and a blow dryer

take the brush and comb straight threw your hair but stop at the end so your brush is holding your hair

take the blow dryer and point down the whole time your blowdrying

blowdrying down will make your hair softer and shinyeer

when you straighten your hair but a little more serum in your hair to protect it, and straighten it like normal

i do this everyday and it works soo well

pick me for best answer=]

You can try to brazilian/japanese straighten your hair or use a product called straighten out by special effects. Its inexpensive and can be found at walgreens, target, ect. Works like a charm. Belive me, I live in really humid weather.
