No it doesn't make it thinner. It can dry it out but not that much, maybe if you laid in the bed for an hour every day it might dry it out alot. Most beds have the option for a face tanner on/off switch if you are worried about it drying your hair out just switch it to off or only use it half the time.

i have never heard that it can make it thinner. that doesn't seem possible. it does damage it by drying it out, though (the first person is incorrect.)
