Why is my hair always looking greasy??

i take showers everyother day like take one on monday skip tuesday and then take one on wensday . ok anyways i wash my hair and keep it clean but on the days i dont take showers it loooks soo greasy i tried different shampoos and conditioners but it doesnt help only for like a week and then its back to grease ( i have thin hair too)

You should shower every day in the morning and go light on the conditioner, you may not even need it in your roots. Are you sure you are getting all the shampoo and conditioner out in the showers? Are you putting any product in after the shower? Just try not putting conditioner in your roots and see how is goes.

You could try sprinkling baby powder in to the roots of your hair on the days you don't wash it. It sounds weird but it does work to soak up some of the excess oil to make your hair look clean.

it might be that your hair is producing a lot of oil, if you just started doing the every other day pattern of washing your hair it might be that your hair is adjusting to that new pattern and is letting out tons of oil, esp. if you were used to washing it every day...i would say give it some time and see what happens, and then i would suggest just starting to wash it every day.

u should always shower or bath everyday especially if ur a girl %26amp; as far as hair goes u probably have pretty greasy hair like my friend %26amp; i suggest that u wash ur hair daily really well maybe even 2 times %26amp; make sure ur not using 2 much shampoo or conditioner %26amp; b sure 2 rinse it out COMPLETLY %26amp; the type of hair products u use could have something 2 do with it(any gels, hairspray, etc) so if u do use hair products try %26amp;cut back on how much u use or just dont use any @ all

I can guarentee it is most likely your diet. Other than that, genetics have a little bit to do with the disposition... but again, a diet is the biggest factor.

Hey - I find my hair actually gets greasier much more quickly if I use a shampoo FOR greasy hair. Instead, I use a shampoo for dry hair (Herbal Essences Fruit Fusions for dry or damaged hair seems very good for me). As some other people have suggested, your scalp may be over-compensating for the oil you strip out when you wash it.

It sounds to me as if you have oily hair. You will need to wash it everyday. Mine is like that. Don't use combination shampoo/conditioner. Get seperate ones, and pay the extra money for good shampoo. Try the Aussie brand and see how that works for you. If it dries out your hair to much switch over to Redkin. I am recommending these since they come in scents for women.

Personally I don't use shampoos or conditioners that are scented by chemicals, but instead by natural ingredients. IE; aloe, lavender, etc. Also, alternate to a different brand after 30 days of use. Keep your hair guessing.

It's probably your shampoo. I had the same problem and i hated it, so i changed my shampoo to Herbal Escences it is fab! Also make sure you do not wash it to often. Once every 2 days is good. Sure it looks luvly xx If in doubt sweep your hair back and you will not see it as much!
