Suggestions for good hairstyle on long thin hair for a 26 year old girl with kids?.?

Right now my hair is to my waist, but in need of a cut, It is currently all one length, and just looks blah. I do not want to chop it off short. I just want something easy to do if I go somewhere, or long enough to pull back. I wanted layers, but someone once told me that would look choppy since my hair is thin... Help please!!

Cut it layers beneath shoulder.. take the risk.. I mean, it's not getting any thicker.. if neccesary volumize ur hair.. [Extentions??].. Ask ur hair stylist if it works, they're the pros :)

I would consider short hair. My hair is thin and when it was long it looked limp and thin. I got it cut real short and now it doesn't look so thin anymore. go to a reputable salon and tell them the same thing and ask them what kind of cut would be best for you, and no, layers are not a good thing for thin hair, makes it look thinner.
