i currently have layered thin hair right now. and my face shape is oval. i want to get a haircut that would help prevent split ends unlike how my hair is like right now. but i dont want it to look boring and just cut straight across at the ends of my hair. any advice on hairstyles that would fit the description? also can you provide pictures too?

split ends are from dry, over heat dried or over processed or over brushed or unhealthy hair.
use a humectant or hair repair type conditioner. pantene makes a couple.
and/ or use a leave in conditioner.
less layers is better to make your hair look more full.
a blunter cut not too boring is short and choppy in back angled to longer and blunt in front.
very popular here in OC among the young stylish ones.
best to go to a beauty salon or school and check out the most current styles as they have the latest.
go to the expensive places check out the styles and then get it cut at the less expensive..armed with the best info..you'll have the same look for less.!

Get layers, if your hair isn't prone to frizzies and fly-aways, if it is, get no layers, but side-swept bangs, they look good with any style hair.
